Paper Shades and Shadow Tests

Using the 12V rig you made or a Philips Hue test rig, make a paper shade. Experiment with the balance between patterned shadows and the utility of the light output. Experiment with a variety of shadow options, from sharp, clear shadows to soft-edge gradient shadows.

Measure the lux and color temperature output of your candle from a distance of 1m, 2m, and 3m, and from different positions around the shade. Take your measurements under realistic use conditions, i.e. with the other lights in the room off or subdued.

from this time lapse ( ~1:30 hours ) we can see the shadow of our building -370 jay street on the building across the street, starting to get taller and taller. .

Diffusers - Materials :

The first material I would like to introduce for a diffuser is

the label - white part of a zip lop bag that I used for the LED light assignment

The second material is the combination of a holographic material with a vinyl sheet.
