I was astonished by the amount and variation of natural materials in Material Connextion.

I think the materials that got most of my attention was mostly “hard” materials , made out of an natural ingredient. e.g. banana strips, coffee beans.

My mind instantly shifted to an “architectural mode” and I started looking for materials that I can use in my future / current projects :

For a small coffee shop that I am designing in Crete :

using recycled plastic tiles for the counter top couldn’t be a prettier solution.
