A Kinder surprise Toy made out of plastic.
This is one of my first pocket toy that I really immerse my self into. I don’t remember the exact date that I commissioned it, if I was the one who found it or if it was my brother . I also I don’t know if it was a part of something bigger, but that is why it is magical to me. The most important thing is that I hold onto it for as longs as I remember. I always enjoyed looking at it. And I remember my self having it with me for inspiration whenever I went .. This object’s journey doesn’t end here since it still continues to inspire me, and remind me of the things that I want to create. It is one of the few personal items I’ve brought here in the US.
I wanted my display to have a mirror so that visitors can see their selves in this tiny world and be part of the immersion.
*I wasn’t able to find a mirrored surface in the size that I wanted ( originally had thought of a tall or long 1 dimensional stripe of mirror ) Also it didn’t help that I didn’t have a wall or an actual taller box…
I anticipate to addatch a rc motor so that the base can roatate and also design an AR filter where this tiny world comes into life
I would really like the text to appear on the mirror , but that might not work for every visitor.
