Overall impression :

A quick and pleasant museum. Simple and welcoming Architectural Design, simplistic descriptions and very fun and easy to access through their app. The guests can are introduced to art, personal objects and other cultural and historical items from artists of personal collectors that traveled to the states, each telling its own journey.

Accessibility Things I liked :

Accessibility Things I did not like : :

Coat hanger and backpack with your entry to the museum for free.

Direct access to the exhibit on the third floor through classical elevators located a few steps after the Foyer.

Easy to access for person with disabilities and audio descriptions with the app.

There was seating available

Other things I liked :

The App was quite helpful and easy to download

Amphitheater with seating and film

Felt newly renovated

people working there were really nice

They had included interaction

Not that explanatory to a visitor that is not familiar with the culture

Exhibits seemed few - exhibition brief

After I left I felt that I didn’t learn anything historical - only cultural.

No cafeteria -

Didn’t include tactile elements

Other things I didn't liked :

Not enough space - each room could support 2-4 people

Not all objects had an audio description

Not so much interacting with the exhibits

Lack of the greater story

Gestalt- Description :

A mesmerizing blue light along with the yellow “OY” prompt - was what actually elevated and synchronized the experience. In addition, the main room featured neon light fixtures in many colors that created a special personalized connection to visitors form all around the world. ( it would have been nice if they had double-checked the spelling ). Lastly, the emerald pink room was the only room that featured touch screen interaction. All these technologically features created an additional layer of immersion and made it more appealing to the younger generations.

Overall I would imagine it to be more emotional.

Its personality felt modern, artsy and colorful.

Third floor - Main Exhibition:

Accessibility :

When stepping out of the elevator, the visitor may find a blue wall with big font text. The font size was big enough but the part with the QR code to download the app was placed with smaller font on the side and it felt like something irrelevant .

Exhibition Design :

Captions were placed near the exhibits. I feel like the font size was ok but It could be bigger. In some exhibits e.g. the carousel hourses, captions were really hard to find. Length is actually ideal for me but sometimes I would like an aditional explanation on what that object actually is instead of where it came from.
